Voka Gentle are William J. Stokes and twins Imogen and Ellie Mason. With the studio as their playground at one end and a live show bursting with raw, manic energy at the other, the trio of producer-performers craft viscerally off-kilter songs infused with motorik electronics, intricate psychedelia, heavy guitar textures and experimental sound design.

Having diligently honed their sound across three albums, Voka Gentle continue to make fans of some of the most respected figures in their genre. After opening for the Flaming Lips in London they collaborated with bandleader Wayne Coyne, who enthusiastically appeared as a guest vocalist on the album WRITHING!; a record described by Bombay Bicycle Club's Jack Steadman as "the kind of album I wish that I had made". Soon after, they were invited to contribute two remixes to the expanded edition of Reset by Animal Collective's Panda Bear and Spacemen 3's Sonic Boom, who subsequently invited the band to open their last UK show in support of the album at London's Heaven. Sonic Boom also contributed a remix of his own for their latest album Domestic Bliss (‘horror and beauty occupying the same frame’ -The Quietus), Voka Gentle’s first record since signing to cult London label state51; contributing to an all-star accompanying remix EP alongside Hot Chip’s Joe Goddard, clipping.’s Jonathan Snipes, Hidden Orchestra and more.
