The Lovers of Invention

The Lovers of Invention are an eight-piece band from South London dedicated to bringing Frank Zappa’s iconic fusion of jazz, rock, blues and psychedelia to life for a new generation. It goes without saying that Frank Zappa was one of the most innovative and stylistically diverse musicians of his generation. His work was characterised by its irreverence, free-form improvisation, sonic experimentation, musical virtuosity, and satire of American culture.
