Sing! Under the Bridge and Round the Fire with Jane Rotinoff
Thursday 12 June, 7pm - 9.30
Share in the magic of collective singing - learn songs that celebrate the long days of summer and listen to their sounds resonate through the landscape.
Join choir leader Jane Rotinoff to explore the sounds of our voices as we sing in the evening in the height of summer. We'll explore the landscape around organicARTS, and listen to how it responds to the sounds of our voices. Singing under the bridge in the cutting, and later round the camp fire, we'll learn some songs to match the season and revel in the joy of singing together. No singing experience required.
Jane Rotinoff is the inspiration and director for Ide's community choir Ide Aloud. Formerly a drama teacher, her skills in inspiring others to sing, and bringing people together to enjoy the collective sounds of our voices, has drawn out the success of the group for more than 16 years.
What a glorious season to revel in the sheer magic of nature! This workshop is one of three Creative Evening workshops which celebrate the long evenings and the beauty of the landscape under the slowly setting sun.
The workshop takes place entirely outside, although there is cover for wet weather - please dress appropriately for the time of day and year, including sturdy footwear! Finally, if you’re likely to be hungry, bring something to eat during our pause after the walk.
Please let us know your access requirements when you book your ticket.
