Rus Nerwich

Rus Nerwich – Mantras 4 Modern Man Saxophonist and composer Rus Nerwich brings Mantras 4 Modern Man back to the stage. In spiritual traditions, mantras are short phrases repeated to focus the mind and turn attention inward. Here, simple melodic phrases become the starting point for free improvisation. Semitic melodies, impressionistic textures and deep rhythmic grooves come together in an evening of exploration and conversation between musicians. Featuring Andrew Ford (piano), Wesley Rustin (bass) and Kevin Gibson (drums).
