Accessibility at Futures 2023

The Cornish Bank

Falmouth

About

With a Pop-Up Curiosity Shop of Science and Culture as part of the FUTURES festival, we are bringing bonkers discovery, intriguing ideas, and an array of activities to The Cornish Bank on September 30th and October 1st. We are supported by the University of Exeter’s Department of Public Health and Sports Sciences in making this event accessible for neurodivergent families. There will be quiet space to decompress, ear defenders, and volunteers on-hand. For more details, please look at the "accessibility at futures" webpage on the Agile Rabbit Websit, or contact Eleanor Bryant ([email protected]) who will be happy to answer any specific questions. Pre-registration is for: 1. Families with additional needs (for example accessibility requirements or severe allergies) so that we can plan ahead to accommodate you 2. Families who would like to attend our quiet hours from 3-4 pm on both days. It is essential you pre-register for quiet hours as we have a limited number of spaces during these times. If you do not have additional accessibility requirements and do not want to attend a quiet hour, there is no need to pre-register. Please just show up on the day - we're excited to see you! Your information will be kept for logging on the day of the event, and will be sercurely deleted a week after the event unless permission is given otherwise. To pre-book onto our workshops, please follow the link on the Agile Rabbit Website.
