Pangea, a drum and bass collective in the city, and Fractal, pursuers of underground and psychedelic music, are bringing you two DnB favourites for this one off event. goddard. - rising sensation goddard. has established himself as a force to be reckoned with. Taking inspiration from house, techno and ambient genres, he creates deep liquid sounds and high energy belters. He has been said to employ ‘fewer samples and more writing’ ethos allowing him to harness a standout sonic signature. He was voted Best Newcomer at the 2022 DnB Arena Awards and his remix of Go has landed 50 million steams on Spotify alone. In addition to this , tunes such has "messy in heaven" and "Green Light" have been rocking DnB dancefloors all summer. We are super excited to see what he has to bring to Durham. Having graduated from Van Mildert College in 1997, he stormed straight into the dnb/jungle scene releasing iconic tracks such as "Up All Night", “Red Sky” and "Numbers" cementing him as a pivotal figure. The head honcho of Beta Recordings, he has also released on Formation Records, Metalheadz, Renegade Hardware, Planet Mu and Hospital Records. In addition to this, trancestep and electrostep sub-grenres have been closely attributed to his productions. Today, he continues to feature at festivals such as Let It Roll, Sun and Bass, and Liquicity.
