About

Miranda Faul, Dollface & Shy with Sunset Ensemble at Crowbar Terrace Miranda Faul is an independent Irish singer-songwriter based in Dublin. Miranda's music is characterized by her unique blend of folk, RnB, and indie pop influences, her poignant lyrics and soulful vocals. She is influenced by a wide range of artists, including Lisa Hannigan, Hozier, Adele, and Jorja Smith. Miranda released her third single ‘Not Much of a Man’ in March 2024, following the highly acclaimed “Renegade” in March 2023,& “Summer” in September 2023 which earned her features in popular music blogs such as Hot Press, Golden Plec, She Makes Music, Tonic Grain, and York Calling, as well as widespread radio play on stations such as RTE 2XM, Dublin City FM, KFM, KCLR, and Dublin South FM. SHY is a Ukrainian singer-songwriter defining her genre as indie-pop/folk-pop. A former X-factor participant, she released her debut EP “Loading” back in 2018 which launched her career of an independent artist. Now SHY is based in Dublin and is re-establishing her music project going international with the English language LP “Awkward Tunes” released in April last year. Seizing all and any opportunities afforded to her, SHY’s multiple direct observations of war and destruction is reflected in her evolved and truly authentic approach to her craft. By embracing moments of self-reflection, love stories and light throughout dark, sombre periods of her life, the singer-songwriter is determined to celebrate simple, heartfelt and warm compositions. Sad songs, baby face. Dollface is the music project of Dublin born Aimée Rose, who has been writing songs since she was a teenager. Dollface’s music deals with themes ranging from existentialism to feminism, her alternative and dreamy sound coming from harmony blends, soft synths and sweet guitar. Described as shoegaze and alt pop-rock and influenced by artists like Soccer Mommy, Lucy Dacus, Phoebe Bridgers, Mitksi and Lorde, Dollface’s unique sound aims to blend all aspects of the genres she loves, while still making sure she has something to say. Accompanying all three artists is house band Sunset Ensemble. Doors at 7pm. Tickets are non refundable after the show has commenced. Only physical Valid ID (Passport, Driving License and Garda Age Card) accepted at the door. On behalf of all musicians, we hope you enjoy the show.
