Magdalene Summer Event 2022 Ticket details, dates, and FAQs How and when are tickets released? All tickets will be released on the FIXR platform. Tickets will be released on February 11th to current Magdalene students, and alumni who graduated 2020 and 2021. - Current students will need to create an account on FIXR with their Cambridge email. They will also be required to input their crsID as part of the purchase to verify their identity. - Alumni should use their old crsID to verify their identity. They can use any email address to login to FIXR. Ticket holders can apply for guest tickets from February 21st. - Ticket holders will be sent a link from which they should provide the details of their guest. - If applications for guests are oversubscribed, a ballot will choose who gets a ticket. - Successful applicants will be sent a code, which they must provide to verify their identity when purchasing a guest ticket on FIXR. What ticket types are there? Standard – £90* For current Magdalene students and alumni who graduated in 2020 and 2021 Queue Jump – £100 Skip the queue to make the most of the event Guest – £100 After release to Magdalene students and recent alumni, guests of attendees may purchase a ticket *Magdalene undergraduates on the full bursary will receive a £20 discount which will be refunded following their purchase. The full bursary is given to those whose home household annual income is below £25,000. Postgraduates in from similar financial backgrounds who feel they require the discount are encouraged to contact their tutor, who should contact [email protected] to request the discount is applied. FAQs What is the refunds policy? I’ve changed my mind or can no longer attend - Tickets can be transferred at no fee, though non-Magdalene students will have to upgrade a ticket transferred from a Magdalene student to a guest ticket for £10. To change a name, contact [email protected], and include MAGD2022 in the email subject line - Unfortunately, we cannot routinely offer individual refunds. In extraordinary cases, you may wish to contact the Committee (details below) who will consider extenuating circumstances. Event cancellation - We will endeavour to give as full a refund as possible to all ticketholders. However, because some costs, such as deposits, may not be recoverable, if the event is cancelled at late notice, a portion of each ticket cost may need to be retained to cover these. I’m in my last year—why do I not get priority to ensure I get a ticket? As there are enough tickets for every Magdalene student to attend, there is no need to prioritise between particular year groups. Which alumni can buy tickets? Magdalene alumni who graduated in 2020 and 2021 will be eligible to purchase a general release ticket. Who is eligible to be my guest? Anyone may purchase a ticket as a guest of Magdalene student also in attendance. Guests do not have to be university members. They will be asked to provide the crsID of the Magdalene student at the point of purchase. Have any questions or need help?
