Litsoc's International Trip: Edinburgh

Do you love writing? Do you also struggle finding inspiration and the time in your day to set aside for your writing? Well then come along with LitSoc on our Writing Retreat to Edinburgh and get the chance not only to dedicate your time to creativity but also to meet other aspiring authors, find inspiration in drunken conversations and subsequently clear your head in a bit of nature. Who knows, this could even be your chance to meet the next big Trinity writer or to form the tight-knit writer's group you may have been looking for... What will we do? Day 1 Arrival to Edinburgh Visit to the Writer’s Museum A night out with the Napier University Creative Writing Society Day 2 Four hours dedicated to creative writing in a local library A (hopefully inspiring and refreshing) visit to the Holyrood Park and the Greyfriars Kirkyard Cemetery Card games and writerly chats at the hostel Day 3: Visit to the Scottish Storytelling Centre Four hours dedicated to creative writing across two cafes Return to Dublin And you will have some time in-between to rest and explore the city at your own pace if you wish to!
