For many of us, traditional high school matric dances/proms were defined by heteronormative expectations, erasure & the pressure to conform. Lesbian* Prom is an act of reclaiming queer joy. Show up and celebrate exactly as you are!!! While all queer bodies are warmly welcomed, Lesbian* Star Events proudly centers queer femme bodies. With initiatives like The Lesbian Bar Project highlighting the critical shortage of spaces for sapphic communities, this night is more than just a party - it’s a protest against the margins.
