Klub Nos Lowen

It maybe cold outside but there’s no better way to warm up than at our yuletide Klub Nos Lowen! Backalong are a spin off duo from the mighty Bagas Fellyon. Fiddle and bouzouki duo ‘Backalong’ search through dusty manuscripts for hidden gems and create fresh new arrangements from Cornwall’s forgotten melodies. Woodkern a seven-piece, youth-led contemporary folk group from across Cornwall and Devon who weave traditional music and song with original material to create their powerful and distinctive sound. In times gone by, Woodkerns were messengers and guardians who knew their land deeply, which perfectly reflects this unique ensemble whose music is deeply rooted in who they are and where they come from. Sonrisa (meaning smile in Spanish) are a new band on the nos lowen scene playing traditional music with some vocal numbers. They are sure to bring a smile to our dance floors!
