Host Family Information Breakfast • Tuesday 30th June • St Bede's College • 9:00 am - 10:00 am At St Bede's College, we are proud to welcome students from around the world through our International Student Programme, giving young people the opportunity to experience life, learning and culture in Manchester whilst becoming part of our Bedian family. We are looking to expand our network of host families and would love to hear from families who may be interested in opening their home to an international student. To help families learn more, we are hosting a Host Family Breakfast on Tuesday 30th June, where current host families, prospective host families and members of our International Team will come together to discuss the programme, share experiences and answer any questions. Why become a host family? • • Welcome a young person from another country into your home and family life. • • Build lasting friendships and cultural connections. • • Help a student feel safe, supported and settled whilst studying at St Bede's. • • Receive ongoing support from the College's International Team. • • Receive £300 per week in recognition of your hospitality. Many of our current host families describe the experience as one of the most rewarding things they have done, offering not only support to a student but also valuable cultural experiences for their own children and family.
