About

This online workshop will strengthen your safeguarding practice and give you an understanding of the risks, roles, responsibilities and responses for INGOs. It is aimed at any UK-based organisation working with international programmes in a development, humanitarian or academic setting. About Vicky Ferguson: Vicky Ferguson is the Head of Safeguarding, Training and Learning for Chance for Childhood (CfC), an INGO working in Africa to support children in vulnerable situations. She focuses on supporting CfC and their partners to develop robust and inclusive safeguarding practices, policies and procedures. She also oversees all the training Chance for Childhood, delivers on Inclusion and facilitates a Community of Practice for Partners. Before moving into International Development Vicky worked with children and young people in the UK in both the Third and Public Sector.
