About

Doors 7.00 - Members 6.45 Moving from London to California at 21, Henry played his first shows in the small folk clubs, bars and coffee houses of Los Angeles and San Francisco. There he was introduced to the music of artists like Bon Iver and Hiss Golden Messenger who helped shape his early writing and songs that would later appear on his self-released 2022 debut album Alive In America. Since returning home after five years in the States, his music has been championed by the likes of Clash, Americana UK, Under The Radar and BBC Introducing. Roisin O'Connor of The Independent picked Henry as her spotlight artist of the week, while Danielle Perry named him her self-released artist of the month on Absolute Radio after seeing him play at The Great Escape Festival. His sophomore album Things Are Moving All Around Me was co-produced with Blaine Harrison of Mystery Jets. Recorded mostly live at Middle Farm Studios in Devon, the album marks a departure from the stark and sparse arrangements of Alive In America and introduces a more transatlantic, band-driven sound with Grace joined by Harrison on keys, Brian Love on guitar, Toby Evangelou on drums and Thomas Holder on bass. Speaking of the new album, Henry says "it had wings from the start. Making records is meant to be difficult, and I’m not saying this was easy, but throughout the whole process, it felt like there was a force willing these songs into existence."
