Hailing from Bristol, post-rock outfit HAAL have quickly become cult favourites in the UK live scene. They have 'a psychotropic blend of sampling', DIY home-crafted pedals, monolithic instrumentation and immersive live visuals. Not to be missed. Check out 'To Be A Machine', a hit, recently remixed by Ollie Judge (frontman of Squid). For fans of: Slint, Black Midi, Massive Attack, Scaler Support comes from Elliana Craig: "The important thing is that we're going ham on visuals, we've got media from our friend Kirsten, who's only contactable via a brick phone and collects photos from other people's second hand cameras. We've also got an elaborate multi camera set up, along with 1 million synthesisers (both stuff you've heard of and also stuff you haven't) but you need to remember that it's guitar music.
