Green New Disco - LGND X YL Fundraiser

The year is 2035. You are on a free publicly owned electric bus heading on your night out. Cyclists whizz past outside on their way to dinner at their neighbourhood community kitchen. It’s a Thursday night, the 4 day week means you haven’t worked a Friday for years. You get off the bus to meet your mates - borders have been abolished so they’ve taken high speed trains from around the world to come and stay with you in your affordable and well insulated social housing. From along the lush tree-lined street you hear the sound of music - it’s the Green New Disco… Really the year is 2022 and we’re all miserable and exhausted from fighting for a better world! So come party the blues away, rejuvenate yourself alongside your favourite comrades, and help us raise money for our worker climate conference this Autumn. Expect Motown, northern soul and Italo disco from DJ Poppy Turner and friends. Doors from 10pm, last entry 12am and lights on 3am. The event is step free accessible.
