This month, we’re celebrating Nollyween — our African take on Halloween, inspired by our favourite Nollywood films, iconic African cinema, and the vibrant world of African entertainment. Expect a night where African pop culture, creativity, and nightlife come together in one unforgettable celebration. Come dressed as your favourite Nollywood character, an iconic African film or entertainment personality, or let your imagination run wild with your own African-inspired Halloween look. Nollyween is your invitation to celebrate African creativity, culture, and storytelling through fashion, music, and movement. Rooted in rhythm and driven by community, the night brings together a carefully curated blend of Afrobeats, Afropop, Bongo Flava, Dancehall, Kizomba, Kuduro, and more — spanning the continent and echoing across the diaspora. Expect deep cuts, crowd favourites, and seamless genre journeys delivered by some of downtown Johannesburg’s finest DJs, all coming together to create an immersive, high-energy experience that honours African culture in motion.
