Ruby Alix is a musician from Cape Town, South Africa. Her music draws inspiration from her experiences of love, heartbreak, grief and spirituality. Her inward approach to music examines the humanity, messiness and beauty that being human gifts us. Ruby has been a performer all her life and has used music as a tool to understand, navigate and soothe the growing pains of adolescence and adulthood. The evening will be opened by the incredible Ama Gaisie, who will also join Ruby in her set, along with Jak Tomas! Door tickets will be sold for R200 if available!
