EUOWSS Freshers Taster Swim and Social

We'll be heading to Dawlish Warren for a dip, a chill post-swim social at the Boathouse (hot chocolates and cakes or pints and chips are both available) before heading back to Exeter with plenty of time to get ready if you have evening plans! We can't wait to kick off the 2026/27 year, and get together with new and returning members. Whether it's your first time open water swimming, just coming along for a dip or you're a seasoned swimmer all are more than welcome. This is also just a great way to explore the beautiful beaches surrounding Exeter whilst the weather's warmer and meet new people (bring your new flatmates/friends but also feel free to come alone, most people do). Last year this event was super popular and we filled the train so please buy a ticket so we can plan accordingly. Walking bus: Committee will lead a walking bus to St James Park Station from outside forum at 13:25 (please meet us there from 13:15). For those meeting us at the train station we will be catching the train which stops at 13:48 St James Park, 13:51 Exeter Central, 13:59 Exeter St Davids. If you wish to drive, there is a car park at the beach and please meet us at the beach at 14:10. We hope to sea you there!
