Join us for some grassland conservation management!
The best way to get more wildflowers in grassland is to reduce the nutrients by cutting and collecting the grasses - this reduces nutrients which helps to stop grass dominating and allows wildflowers to flourish.
We will be working to help grassland biodiversity by gathering up grass cuttings and putting them in habitat piles or leaving them for the Grounds team to collect.
Please bring gardening gloves if you have them (or we can supply), appropriate shoes (sturdy trainers or boots), dress for the weather in clothes that you don't mind getting a bit dirty.
There are no facilities on site, so bring a drink and snack if you wish.
