Courtauld Gallery Reception

As part of the 2025/26 Welcome Week, The Courtauld Students' Union is excited to invite all students to the Courtauld Gallery Reception! Hosted in the Somerset House Art Café, the event will allow you to meet and mingle with new friends over drinks and nibbles, whilst having a private view of the Courtauld Gallery and Prints & Drawing Room collections. There will also be a short welcome from the Märit Rausing Director of The Courtauld Institute of Art, Mark Hallett, and our Head of Department of Art History, Esther Chadwick. Each ticket comes with 2 drink tokens, to be used either on wine or soft drinks. It is important that the gallery space is respected, and any abuses of staff or venue will not be tolerated. Requirements: You must show your Courtauld or KCL student ID alongside your ticket for entry. Dress Code: Semi-Formal. Ticket system: To keep our events as accessible as possible, the SU aims to offer both concession and full-priced tickets to all our events. Full-priced tickets (‘Support the SU’) help us run these socials (although often not break even), but it is up to you to pick the ticket option that you are most comfortable with. If you can no longer make it, feel free to pass your ticket along to a friend or resell it.
