Coach Trip to Diwali Celebrations (from Penryn)

Celebrate the Festival of Lights with us Students from Penryn Campus are invited to join a special coach trip to Exeter for the University’s spectacular Diwali celebrations. It’s a wonderful chance to enjoy music, food, culture, and fireworks with friends and the wider university community. Families and local residents will also be part of the festivities – everyone is welcome. 🚌 Coach Details (Penryn → Streatham → Penryn) Date: Sunday 15 November 2026 Pick-up Point: Penryn Campus Bus Stops • Departure from Penryn: 11:30am • Arrive in Exeter: 2:15pm (in time for Puja) • Return coach departs Exeter: 7:15pm (after fireworks) • Arrive back in Penryn: 9:30pm approx. 👉 Limited places – booking required! 🎉 Programme Highlights at Streatham Campus 14:30 – Puja (Forum). Led by the Hindu Chaplain, open to all. 15:00–17:00 – Activity Stalls (Forum) • Rangoli designs ✨ • Diya painting (small fee) • Henna workshops and tattoos (small fee) • Diwali card & badge making • Dance workshop 🪩 • Traditional dress try-on • Storytelling with performances • Poker (18+, no gambling for money) 15:00–17:00 – Food (Terrace). Delicious traditional vegetarian dishes with chutneys, sauces, pilau rice, and naan. 17:30–18:30 – Diwali Spectacular! (Great Hall) A show-stopping mix of traditional and contemporary performances by students. • Doors open: 17:00 (entry closes 17:20 sharp). • Free entry – limited seating, first come first served. 18:45 – Fireworks Finale 🎆 (rear of XFI Building).
