Indigenous Voices and Storytellers – An Intimate Series of Concerts
Music has always been humanity’s oldest language—a way to share history, pass down wisdom, and gather around the hearth. This September, as part of the official WOMAD Festival Fringe, Curated by KAYA invites you into KAYA HQ for Indigenous Voices and Storytellers, a four-night series of intimate, stripped-back performances celebrating global sonic heritage and local creative excellence.
Hosted at our city-center sanctuary at 35 Loop Street, this series strips away the spectacle of massive festival stages to reveal the raw heart of songcraft. Across four rare and unique evenings, acclaimed international artists brought to South Africa by WOMAD will perform up-close, acoustic, and narrative-driven sets. They will share the stage with handpicked local acts from the Curated by KAYA ecosystem, creating an unprecedented cross-pollination of sound, story, and tradition.
With strictly limited tickets available per night, Indigenous Voices and Storytellers offers an exclusive, living-room view into world-class artistry. Experience the warmth, the resonance, and the timeless power of storytelling in Cape Town’s home for collaborative creative culture.
