About

Welcome to the 2024 Cambridge University Charity Fashion Show, raising money for BEAT Eating Disorders UK, Centre 33, and Lifecraft. This year, our theme is DISSONANCE, a play on notions of contrast, contradiction, and conflict. The event will include a drinks reception, a live DJ, and 70 looks featuring designers from CSVPA, CSM, LSA, University of Westminster, and more. Entry to the venue will open at 6:30pm. Last entry will be 7:45pm and all guests must be seated by 8pm. We kindly ask that guests remain seated for the duration of our show (8-9pm) and that all guests leave the venue by 10pm. All tickets, both seated and standing, include free entry to our after party at Revolution (Downing Place, Cambridge, CB2 3DS) from 10:30pm-3am, one free alcoholic drink, and one entry into our charity prize raffle, with prizes made available by our generous sponsors: BamBaz, BizBozKnits, ByHillHair, Cambridge Satchel Company, Iris and Violet, Kettle's Yard, Moony, Morally, Sea Change, Silk Works London, Small and Green, Tiffin Truck, Voga by CC, and Votch. Kamo Premium Vodka and Sunset Juice will be operating bars at the pre-show drinks reception from 6:30pm. Every attendee will be given one drink token to spend at either bar, with alcoholic options available at the Kamo Bar and the Sunset Bar. Additional drinks can also be purchased from either bar. Half of all such proceeds going to our selected charities. Further free non-alcoholic choices will also be available at the show courtesy of Fhirst and Perfectted , as will free snacks courtesy of Cheesies and others, to be announced shortly! Although alcoholic drinks are available and can be consumed throughout the venue, we kindly remind guests that the show is taking place in a church building and to remain orderly and respectful. Guests who fail to do so will be asked to leave. There are select seated places reversed for accessibility reasons, so if you require seated tickets please contact our President, Jude, via email at [email protected]. Any other questions regarding accessibility should also be directed to Jude, so please don't hesitate to email. Please note that seating for seated ticket holders is otherwise unreserved and that we cannot guarantee you will be able to sit with people of your choosing. To ensure you are seated in a position ideal for you, we recommend you arrive to the show promptly. No cloak room is available on-site, however a few coat racks can be found in the entry hall. You are welcome to leave coats and bags here, however we take no responsibility for any loss or damage to personal property.
