Artist Talk- Caroline Cheng郑祎: Arts, Design, and Education within & beyond Ceramics This artist talk is co-organized with the Cambridge China Education Forum. We are honored to invite Caroline Cheng as our guest speaker. Born in Cambridge, she is now the Director of the PWS Ceramic Hub and an internationally renowned ceramic artist and curator. Drawing on her significant artistic practice and extensive experience in education, she will offer rich, multifaceted perspectives to inspire those interested in arts and cultural education—as well as broader educational visions—in both research and practice. Time 1.30-3 pm, 6th May, 2026 Venue Seminar Room, Fitzwilliam Museum, Cambridge Format Artist Sharing followed by a Q&A session Guest Speaker: Caroline Cheng郑祎 2021-Present Co-Founder Yi Design Group 2019-Present Founder Caroline Cheng Art and Design Limited 1997-Present Director The Pottery Workshop, Hong Kong, Shanghai, Jingdezhen Caroline Cheng is the Director of PWS Ceramic Hub and an internationally renowned ceramic artist and curator. With vision and dedication, she expanded the PWS Ceramic Hub from Hong Kong to Shanghai, Jingdezhen, and Dali. In early 2014, she was honored with the Outstanding Achievement Award by the National Council on Education for the Ceramic Arts (NCECA). Her works have been exhibited worldwide and are held in numerous collections, including those of the British Museum and the Fitzwilliam Museum at the University of Cambridge, among others.
