About Our new capsule collection with Xzavier Zulu, A Stoep for Noisemakers, is an exploration of community and cultural identity through dress, music and culture. Since having relocated to Germany, Zulu (Xzavier) had created Zulu’s Stoep as a means to bring together his friends and family whenever he was back in South Africa - soon after having realized that the concept of “Home” was never a place but in fact a people; the community that you form along your journey. With that, comes Zulu’s Backyard: an extension of the journey and conversation, with a partnership between Zulu’s Stoep and Backyard, that brings together their shared love of retail and sonic experiences to their shared communities.
