Join us for a wonderful Christmas concert by candlelight in the beautiful St Mark’s Church, with only candles and the sound of beautiful music to pierce the winter gloom. With a sequence of music old and new, our annual Christmas concert is a magical way to begin the festive season. Ticket includes complimentary Prosecco and canapés. We are delighted to announce our musicians for this year's concert: Stephen Bryant, violin Stephen is a violinist and leader of the BBC symphony Orchestra, often appearing as its soloist. Stephen is frequently invited to lead other orchestras throughout the world and has broadcast on BBC Radio Three as a recitalist and chamber musician. Mark Sheridan, cello A member of the BBC Symphony Orchestra, Mark as performed, broadcasted and recorded with several chamber ensembles and performed Dvorak’s Cello Concerto recently with the Baltic Philharmonic Orchestra Caroline Jaya-Ratnam, piano After graduating from Cambridge and completing her Master’s degree, Caroline was appointed junior fellow at the Royal College of Music, appeared as a concerto soloist with the BBC Concert Orchestra live on BBC Radio Three and has accompanied several distinguished musicians such as Bryn Terfel in television and radio broadcasts. Doors open 7.30 for an 8pm start.
