Voices of Voyage

SolidariTee at the Universities of Edinburgh and Cambridge are excited to host a number of inspiring poets at our Voices of Voyage poetry event, 6pm, Wednesday 24th March 2021. Our speakers are: Reem Abbas, Meriem Smida, Sawsan Al-Areeqe, Khabat Mala, and Mukahang Limbu - check out our Facebook event page to learn more about them! Expect to be moved and inspired as we hear accounts and musings on themes such as displacement, journey, and change. There will be chances to ask questions and discuss, as well as time to enjoy the beautiful words and imagery in multiple languages. This event is free, however there is a suggested donation of £3 to SolidariTee, a student-led charity that supports NGOs providing legal aid to asylum-seekers (read more here https://www.solidaritee.org.uk/).
