Magdalen College Commemoration Ball 2020 - General Release

Nobody knows quite when the first Magdalen ball took place. We have held some form of summer party for centuries, but the tradition of hosting a formal white-tie ball once every three years emerged during the fin de siècle, and is now woven into the fabric of the college’s history. We warmly invite you to the Magdalen College Commemoration Ball. Join us on the 27th of June 2020 for a symphony of hazy jazz scales, pealing bells, the clinking of glasses, and the crackle of fireworks, harmonised in the gentle warmth of the summer night.
