About

'Going Underground' is a brand new night focused on the Mod subculture from the late 50's all the way up to the early 90's. Expect an eclectic mix of well loved British Beat, Rhythm n Blues, Garage Rock, Northern Soul, Funk, Motown, Jamaican Ska and Mod Revival with music from the likes of The Kinks, Small Faces, Skatalites, The Jam, Booker T & The MG's, The Who, Marvelettes and many, many more! Your DJ on the night will be none other than Bioux T Rubble who has been on the circuit for many years spinning records at some of the most notorious nightspots across London. ►The venue is a charming underground 1960s style bowling alley complete with 8 lanes, a cocktail bar, pool tables, retro arcade games, ping-pong, karaoke booths, a diner (home to London's famous 26 inch pizza) and of course a big dance floor perfect for shakin' the night away. If you would like to book bowling lanes or karaoke booths you can do so by getting in touch with Bloomsbury Bowling Lanes directly: 0207 183 1979 or email [email protected] ►Location is easy to access from all London areas with only a short walk from Euston, Russel Square, Holborn, Goodge Street, Warren street and Kings Cross Station as well as being on many of the major night bus routes. Saturday 17th February: 21:30-03.00 "We are the mods, we are the mods, we are, we are, we are the mods" *'Going Underground' is brought to you by the same promoters behind All Shook Up (The UK's premier 1950's & 60's Rock n Roll and Soul party) but it is a separate event with different DJ's.
