Xhanti Nokwali

Xhanti Nokwali is a South African vocalist, composer and storyteller whose work explores lived experience, identity and place through voice, song and listening. Rooted in language and oral traditions, his music brings together the personal and the communal, engaging with the stories, people and places that shape his experience of the present. This performance invites audiences into the evolving journey of Xhanti's work, bringing together music from his debut project, Umthombo, and his recently released Indlu ka Saqhuma. It is an invitation for the community to come together, to hold one another, and to reflect on the burdens of lineage and history.
