Structured as a journey of Seed → Growth → Bloom, IMBEWU traces what it means to become. Seed is origin: what we inherit, what we carry, what was planted long before us. Growth is transformation: the stretching, the learning, the tenderness, and the ways we are shaped by community. Bloom is return and revelation: the moment we step fully into ourselves - not disconnected from where we come from, but grounded in it. Through the philosophies of Ubuntu and ethnobotany, the show reflects on African and Caribbean relationships with land, plants, memory, and knowledge systems - how culture is held, protected, passed on, and reimagined.
