Taster Sessions 2026

Fancy giving target rifle shooting a go? Our taster sessions are the perfect way to try the sport before committing to a full membership. What to expect After a safety briefing, you'll spend 20 minutes on our indoor range. You'll shoot from the prone (lying down) position, with your arm and rifle supported on sandbags for stability. We use .22 calibre rifles with live ammunition, firing at targets 25 yards away. All equipment is provided, so just bring yourself! Who can come Taster sessions are for club newcomers only and are not suitable for returning shooters. The range will be open to all members the following week. Please note These sessions are subsidised so that as many people as possible can have a go. Please buy one ticket per person only. Anyone who buys more than one ticket will not be refunded for the extras.
