QPL is delighted to welcome a visiting PhD researcher from DLR Lampoldshausen, where she is working on cryogenic combustion chambers for liquid methane/oxygen rocket engines.
Having previously served as Vice President of the University of Sydney Rocketry Team during its success in the COTS competition at Spaceport America, she brings experience spanning both student-led rocketry and advanced propulsion research.
She will deliver a short presentation (approximately 15 minutes) sharing her experiences in competitive student rocketry, her current PhD research at DLR, and her journey into the space industry. The session will then provide an opportunity for QPL members to ask questions, exchange ideas, and showcase some of the projects currently underway within the team.
This is a great opportunity to learn from someone working at the forefront of rocket propulsion, gain insight into international student rocketry, and connect with the wider space engineering community.
