QUB Islamic Society Charity Dinner and Auction - 2026/27

Asalamu alaikum warahmatullahi wabarakatu! We warmly invite you to join us at Queen’s University Belfast for our widely anticipated annual Charity Dinner and Auction, the culmination of this year’s Charity Week initiative! This year we have partnered with Islamic Relief in support of Orphans and Children in Need in regions devastated by conflict and poverty including Palestine, Sudan and Bangladesh where social and political strife have ripped away the childhood of millions of children. Shattered and underdeveloped welfare systems prevent children from having access to their basic rights and opportunities, which we take for granted. From the catastrophe in Gaza to Sudan to Bangladesh/Rohingya, we count on your support to aid various projects to make their lives a little easier, for example, rebuilding healthcare facilities, provision of food packs, cochlear implants and educational support. There will be a delicious three-course meal, recitation and finally, our Charity Auction insha’Allah. You have the chance to bid for a wide selection of items.
