After numerous sold out events last year, The UK's biggest indie party in 17 cities, and counting, is coming back to Saltbox to bring the people of Nottingham another afternoon of indie. Old School Indie - The indie night for the over 30s are once again joining forces with Feeling Gloomy & Age Against The Machine to bring you a special 3pm-7pm Afternoon of Indie. Feeling Gloomy & Old School Indie DJs will be playing a mix of indie classics from across the decades so whether you were an 70s punk, 80s new waver, 90s britpopper or early 00s poser they'll be something for everyone. The party will finish at 7pm and you'll be free to hang about and have a drink still, go into town or just go home for some Saturday night TV and a takeaway There is a strict door policy of no under 30s, so please bring ID as you will be asked to show it upon entry What to expect: The best in indie from: Bowie, Pulp, The Clash, The Jam, The Cure, Blur, Arctic Monkeys, Joy Division, The Stone Roses, The Smiths, New Order, The Strokes, Supergrass, Franz Ferdinand, Nirvana, Ash, Rolling Stones, Primal Scream, The Killers, Sultans of Ping, Oasis, The Buzzcocks, Ramones, The Specials, Blondie, Hole, Madness, The La's, Weezer, The Cardigans, The Housemartins, The Coral, The Undertones, Inspiral Carpets, Bloc Party, The Beatles, Carter USM, Yeah Yeah Yeahs, Radiohead, Suede, Echo and The Bunnymen, Pixies, The Wonder Stuff, Depeche Mode plus the odd bit of rock n roll, soul, northern soul and ska!
