The Building Better Clubs Conference will bring together grassroots football leaders, volunteers, leagues, partners and stakeholders for an evening focused on helping clubs grow, improve and thrive both on and off the pitch.
Designed for ambitious clubs across the region, the FREE event will provide practical ideas, real club case studies, expert insight and valuable networking opportunities to help clubs become stronger, more sustainable organisations within their communities.
A welcome drink, tea & coffee and hot food will all be provided free of charge to keep you refreshed throughout what promises to be an engaging and inspiring evening.
The conference will welcome approximately 320 attendees on 19 June 2026. Guests can arrive from 5pm for networking and exhibitions featuring grassroots football suppliers, partners and support organisations, before a structured conference programme built around the Thriving Community Club Framework:
• Leadership & Governance
• Coaches & Volunteers
• Facilities
• Player Pathways
• Community
Throughout the evening, attendees will hear from National FA staff, Liverpool FA leaders, grassroots club representatives and key partners from across the game. The programme will include practical discussions, club success stories, insight from organisations supporting grassroots football and a celebration of our 3-Star Accredited Clubs.
The evening will conclude with further networking and post-event drinks at the Queen’s Head Pub within the venue.
Whether your club is looking to grow participation, strengthen its committee, improve facilities or simply learn from others across the grassroots game, this is an event not to miss.
If you have the ambition, we have the support.
