KAYA IS TURNING FOUR YEARS OLD, COME CELEBRATE WITH US! We can't believe our lil' space is turning four whole years old, but we do believe it deserves a most proper celebration! If you've been to one of our birthday parties before, you know it's the biggest function of our year, and this year will be no exception. We've got a lineup of people who've been a major part of our space over the last year (or four), ending the evening off with some classic KAYA karaoke! Grab your tickets ASAP, you know how full it can get. Ticket holders will have priority access into the venue, so don't count on getting at the door! (aka Akhil to our KAYA family) is a DJ, Music Producer, Sound Engineer, and Events Organiser based in Cape Town, South Africa. As a DJ, he is known for his ability to mix niche South African Hip-Hop with mainstream Hip-Hop from around the world, creating space for listeners to discover “underground” music by local artists in a way they have never been able to before. Ginie b2b Susie the Bear Mom & Dad to KAYA, Ginie (Gina) and Susie the Bear (Bradley) are passionate about bringing people together, and creating a space for real human connection in these weird times. In celebration of KAYA's 4th birthday, they are inviting your souls into a warm embrace of music. With an eclectic blend of afro & electro-house, Ginie keeps the dancefloor alive with punchy selections and lively transitions that are a love note to her ADHD. Susie the Bear keeps her in check, and balances her EQ - as seen above.
