Halloween Ceilidh

Come join FolkSoc for a spectacularly spooky Halloween Ceilidh (costumes (both spooky and non-spooky) optional)! A ceilidh (pronounced KAY-lee) is a social gathering involving social dance and folk music (performed live by our band!). This is a completely beginner-friendly event—no prior knowledge or experience required. A walkthrough will be given before each dance and the moves will be called out during. If you've never been to a ceilidh before, we promise it's a lot of fun. Just wear comfortable shoes and remember to bring a bottle of water! Tickets aren't mandatory but help us estimate numbers. It is a free ceilidh, but we would greatly appreciate if non-members would consider donating £3 as a "ticket" to help us cover the costs.
