From Kilkenny to Kyiv: Stories the World Needs to Hear

Regent House, Dublin 2

À propos

Join us for an unforgettable evening with Caolan Robertson, award-winning Irish journalist, documentary filmmaker, and one of the most compelling voices reporting from Ukraine today. Born in Kilkenny and now based in Kyiv, Caolan has spent years on the front lines, bearing witness to a conflict the world cannot afford to ignore. His work has earned him twelve international awards and an Honorary Ambassador Award for Digital Diplomacy from the First Lady of Ukraine, and drawn the attention of the Russian government, which has issued an international warrant for his arrest. Coming straight from the European Parliament, Caolan will arrive with fresh news and updates from the heart of European decision-making. The evening will open with Caolan's keynote talk, followed by a screening of excerpts from his documentary work. We will then move into a moderated conversation before opening the floor to questions from the audience, from you! Organised by the Ukrainian Society of Trinity College Dublin.  Please note: some footage may contain sensitive content. A content warning will be issued prior to the screening.
