FolkSoc Ceilidh Practice + Rapper Taster

Come join FolkSoc for a ceilidh practice and rapper taster! Interested in ceilidh dancing but find the idea of it intimidating? We'll be going through some trickier moves and some dances in this dance taster before our official Welcome Week ceilidh. (But this session is absolutely not mandatory, our ceilidh will still be beginner-friendly!) Do you love swords (blunt and bendy for safety reasons)? Want to hold a star made of them? We'll also be doing some rapper sword dancing, which is primarily what we'll be focusing on in our dance sessions throughout the year. This session is aimed at all abilities and is for anyone who would like to try something new. We recommend hard-soled shoes for making the rapper footwork easier, as trainers tend to grip the floor, and a bottle of water, as it can be thirsty work! Tickets not mandatory, but help us estimate numbers :)
