FolkSoc Band Taster

Come join FolkSoc for band practice! Do you play an instrument (or would like to try in a friendly environment)? Are you looking for a non-auditioned music group to try out? Whether you’d like to try a new genre or are already a keen folk musician, this is the right band for you! We run 2-hour practice sessions every week, with the first hour being dedicated to teaching beginners and the second hour to more advanced players and preparing for performances and ceilidhs. So, if you’d like to try out our society’s band, come along to our Welcome Week taster! Tickets not mandatory, but help us estimate numbers :)
