Activities will include: -Seasonal storytelling -Fireside cooking - toast and mulled apple juice -Natural craft making- Bird feeders and Wassail instruments - Short wintry farm walk - Wassail celebration in our apple orchards Wassailing is an annual tradition to bless orchards to ensure a good harvest for the year to come. It has been practised in Britain for centuries. The celebrations involve music, song, dancing and a recognition of what apple trees give to us. This Wassail event is led by Jo and Kevin from organicARTS. We are offering "Choose your own price" tickets at £5, £7.50 or £10 per person with 3 and unders FREE. Please do pay the higher rate if you can afford to. All proceeds from this event will help raise much needed funds for our work with vulnerable people in our community. Come dressed warmly for being outside- wellies and mittens definitely needed!
