EUMCC Varsity 2022

The Exeter University Cricket Club are delighted to invite you to the University’s biggest sporting event of the summer. For the first time in three years, the Women’s, and Men’s 1st XIs will be returning to centre stage to compete in their Varsity against Oxford University. Two University cricket royals will go head-to-head in two T20 games over the afternoon. A game that has seen Somerset captain, Tom Abell, Middlesex prodigy Ethan Bamber, and England and London Spirit star Freya Davies previously play in, it is one not to be missed. The afternoon will promise to be an action packed and fast paced spectacle, with the very best the University has to offer, aiming to cement themselves in EUCC legacy. Expect big 6s, stumps to be cartwheeling and hopefully two victorious Exeter sides. Whilst those on the field promise to put on a show, there will also be plentiful entertainment off it. A brilliant opportunity to have a day out in the sun, post exams, watching high quality cricket right on your doorstep. Social media sensations, @CricketDistrict will be in attendance, filming both playing and fan content for their social media. Can Exeter deliver the goods, or will Oxford spoil the party? We’ll have to wait and see. See you soon.
