Jeff Japers Originally from Glossop in the North of England, Jeff Japers made South Wales his home in 1992, and it’s here he’s been delighting audiences with his brilliantly quirky comedy songs for over two decades. After years of success on the Welsh music scene with his band Gaudy Orde and as a solo performer, Jeff took his unique brand of musical mischief to the comedy circuit in 2015. Just a year later, he was a finalist in the Welsh Unsigned Stand-Up Awards, and in 2022, he scooped not one but two trophies at the Musical Comedy Awards, winning both the Main Prize (as judged by industry professionals) and the Audience Favourite Award. 🎤 Not forgetting our compère, Noel James! He’s not only the night’s host but also the mastermind behind the show, bringing you the very best comedians for a night of pure laughter. For over eight years, Noel has performed comedy across the UK, from Glastonbury to Edinburgh, with his wonderfully surreal and quick-fire humour. A former English teacher (who famously taught it as Welsh!), his act is packed with wordplay, wit, and spontaneous silliness.
