Campaigns Hub

Last year a group of passionate students told us that more support was needed for student-led campaigns, and that there was a real need for a regular space on campus for activists and campaigners to come together to meet, plan and collectivise on issues that matter to you. We heard your feedback and we totally agree! As such for this academic year, we’re setting up a regular Campaigns Hub for all students. Campaigns Hub Our Campaigns Hub is a relaxed space for students who want to build, develop or get involved in campaigns at Exeter. You do not need to arrive with a finished plan, bring in a rough idea, existing campaign or simply an issue you want to explore. The Guilds’ Voice Team will be around to help you. We’ll also provide practical campaign-making materials including boards/cards, paper, pens, paint, ear plugs and foldable chairs where appropriate. You can use this space to work independently, make campaign materials, meet others working on similar issues or connect with Officers where relevant. What we’ll provide • A welcoming space to work on a campaign or campaign idea • Support from Voice Team staff • Practical campaign materials where appropriate • Opportunities to connect with Officers, Part-Time Officers and other students where relevant • Signposting to further Guild support or routes for taking your issue forward • Snacks and refreshments Accessibility • Step-free access • Lift access • Plenty of seating • Disabled toilet available • Gender neutral toilets available • Quiet space available (Exehale) • Easy to come in and out.
