Asakhe Cuntsulana is a South African musician, cultural practitioner and educator exploring the meeting point between indigenous African instruments, contemporary music and storytelling. Through the uHadi, Adungu, Kalimba, voice and other instruments, he creates music rooted in cultural heritage, healing and human connection. His international journey includes performances in Oslo, Norway (2024) and touring through the Amazon in Ecuador and Uganda (2026), including performances at Lunkulu Island and in Kampala.
Following his Prelude to South America concert in Johannesburg, Asakhe returns to Cape Town for the first time since his South American journey, bringing home new sounds, stories and inspiration. This intimate concert guides audiences through music to pause, reflect, meditate and rejuvenate. At its heart is hope, a space to reconnect with ourselves, one another, and the common stories we share through song. Limited merch will also be on sale to promote his highly anticipated music release.
