We are delighted to welcome Esosa Max-Who and DENI for a special festive acoustic session in our bar on Thursday 12th December!
Esosa, a University of Glasgow student, shot to fame last week when a video of her busking on Buchanan Street was sent to Cher who was playing the Hydro that night. The super talented Esosa impressed Cher so much with her cover of Whitney Houston's 'I Have Nothing' that she invited her to come backstage at the Hydro the following night!
Cher tweeted: "Some are touched,Music runs Through us,but When you stand in the St & Sing Your ♥️Out Into The Nite,@dopelighted (Instagram) You’re More Than special. Esosa Maxwho"
We can't wait for you to hear Esosa on our stage. With a voice like hers she will be destined for big things.. see her in an intimate venue like ours while you still can!
Also playing will be another UofG student and the host of our regular open mic, DENI / Deni Smith! Catch her this month playing with her band full band DENI at the highly anticipated Great Western Festival on November 23rd, or come along to our open mic every other Tuesday (next one on 19.11.19).
Early Bird Tickets £5 - Only 25 available! Once they're gone, they're gone
Student Price £5 / Standard Price £7 / £8 On the door
This event will be over 18s. Open to everyone with a ticket - not just UofG students. Management reserve the right to refuse entry.
