The Sun would appear to be packing up its things once again. After a summer residency that, unfortunately, did not live up to the hype once again over the British Isles. Backroom deals are being attempted, but it is unlikely they will be fruitful. Autumn fast approaches, Parka season will soon be in full swing, we suspect it might last a little longer this time. If you suffer from post-summer-blues, you could do worse than attend Northern Parasol's second show of the year at the iconic Band On The Wall. To say we're beyond excited would be an understatement, and we're rarely understated. Joining us this time is the wonderful Rhys Wade, performing their biggest show to date. A true Northern son, his infectious grooves, atmospheric shimmers and melodic-spine-tinglers will leave you gasping for air and beggining for more. Joining him are the sometimes menacing, sometimes anthemic, always enjoyable Cola Bay. Completing the bill are one of our most trusted and most loved comrades, The Sprats. The guns were never loaded. The horoscopes have been ignored. Knees have been fixed. This is a show not to be missed. It will not be live-streamed. Any anti-social behaviour will result in the event stopping until it is dealt with. Anyone we deem to be behaving inappropriately will be removed, blacklisted from future Northern Parasol shows and will not be refunded.
