Windsurfing

Hello you windy lot! Some very exciting windsurfing courses coming your way! Each course will have 4 lessons that are 3 hours along, and in groups of 6. These will be weekly or can be done over two weeks, they'll be organised when the wind is right for you guys. Book yourself onto what's appropriate for your level. RYA Start windsurfing Level 1 Your instructor will guide you through the basic fundamentals needed to confidently windsurf to a desired point. At the end you will be able to sail to a chosen point on the water, tacking and gybing in light winds RYA Intermediate (non-planing) Level 2 Your instructor will build your confidence on the water, coach you through more fluid transitions and introduce new techniques such as beach starting and using a harness. By the end you will be able to sail on all points of sailing in stronger winds, using beachstarts, faster tacking and gybing. RYA Intermediate (planing) Level 3 Faster tacks, use of the harness and getting in the foot straps. Get ready for the excitement of blasting control. Beach starting and carve gybing are taught on this course or as a separate clinic tailored to your needs. Sail on all points in a variety of conditions using faster tacks and the harness. As you progress through this level, you will also be able to use the foot straps and get planing. RYA Advanced Level 4 Master dynamic transitions and advanced planing techniques. You'll also be introduced to the skills needed to grasp the waterstart and carve gybe. Improved planing and blasting control, tacking on a variety of boards in varying conditions and mastering the basic fundamentals needed for waterstarting and carve gybing.
